CHANGED MY LIFE

The small group training at Synergy has seriously changed my life. I have never loved to work out and have always had trouble staying consistent with working out. I signed up for a promotion at Synergy and instantly fell in love with the atmosphere and the workouts. I was really self conscious and really out of shape. We are all there for the same purpose and I have never felt embarrassed or out of place. There is such a wide variety of people also. I got my mom and my best friend to sign up and they love it too! The trainers are amazing and really take the time to get to know you and how far to push you during workouts. The workouts can be tough but the motivation from the trainers and other members will keep you going. I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been in my life!! I’ve lost 14.1 pounds and 5% body fat since I’ve been going to Synergy. I could barely do 4 push-ups on my knees when I started. I am now doing REGULAR push-ups and even started RUNNING (I have never ran a day in my life). I can’t say enough positive things about Synergy. Give it a shot and I promise you’ll be happy you did!!

I originally joined small group training at Synergy to workout with two friends. I have to be honest, I was not for this because I was not comfortable in a “real” gym setting. I find gyms to be very intimidating.

Fast forward to present day, I have lost 18.5 lbs and I am down 7.2% body fat. The staff at Synergy truly care that you get great results. They are patient while you learn the exercises, they are right by your side cheering you on and showing you the correct way to do the exercises to ensure that you don’t injure yourself and are quick to offer-modifications if needed to help you get the most out of your workout and to help you get closer to your personal goal. You leave there tired, but with satisfaction that you just had a great workout and know great results are coming. For me, having the trainers right by my side to keep me motivated and make me push myself is exactly what I needed. I had been going to another gym for 2 years without any results. Making the switch was the best decision. I like the size of Synergy. I have actually gone alone a few times, which I would never have done at my old gym. I love that you sign up for a time slot that works best for your schedule. Having to sign up for a time slot also makes me more accountable and less likely to allow myself to decide at the last minute not to go just because I don’t feel like it. I know when I get there that I won’t have to wait for machines or deal with a crowd of people and the time passes quickly. If you’re looking for results, a place that makes you feel like you are apart of a team and helps you learn how to become healthier and stronger, then you’ve found the place!! “Healthier, Stronger and Happier”

THE WHOLE TEAM IS SUPPORTIVE AND FUN

Working with the Synergy team has worked for me for so many reasons. The small group training allows me to have a flexible schedule for workouts. The workouts are full body and include a number of exercises that before Synergy I would not have tried or believed I would be able to do. My goals can be as simple as just showing up for the class to more challenging like building up to my first 3 miles race in years. The workout is done in an hour and then I can get back to my busy life of managing kids and work. So far I have lost 16 lbs and have lowered my body fat by 7.5% The whole team is supportive and fun so it is never a chore to show up.

I’ve only been doing small group training at Synergy for two and a half months, but already I’ve lost 16 lbs, lowered my body fat by 8.5%, gained strength, and been motivated to make changes to my eating habits. I really like the mix of cardio and strength training in each class. The trainers keep things varied and work you hard. If you have any injury concerns, they modify the exercise so you don’t hurt yourself. Joining Synergy was the right choice for me.

I NEEDED AN EXTRA PUSH

After trying to lose weight on my own over the past few years I came to the conclusion that I needed an extra push as I wasn’t getting the results on my own. I had concerns about joining small group training at Synergy due to several limitations (ankle injury and back pain). My first session was with Sean and he was able to easily modify the routine to accommodate my needs. I quickly learned that all the trainers have extensive knowledge in health and fitness and they safely pushed me further than I ever would on my own. I have never been a fan of the gym but Synergy actually makes me WANT to go and work out. So far I have lost 6 lbs, lowered my body fat by 6%, and lost 3 inches around my waist! They even got me to do my first 5K this year. Thanks to Linnea and the Synergy staff…and let me tell you running was never something I enjoyed! LEANER AND FITTER

I have always been a person who likes to eat and eat a lot, especially the junk. I started realizing how out of shape I was. I had tried to exercise on my own also joined a few big public gyms but I couldn’t keep the zeal to continue.

Then came the time, when I finally realized that I needed to do something about my weight issues, more particularly I wanted to feel better for my own sake (to feel good/confident in my clothes). I joined Synergy’s group training option, my goal was to get leaner and fitter. When I started working out initially, I always felt tired and low on energy. But gradually with each passing session, I became stronger more energetic and even more determined to achieve my goal. I have currently shed 5.1% body fat and 7 lbs. and I have more strength, endurance and stamina. My goal is still far away but Synergy has got me going again.

BEST WORKOUT EXPERIENCE EVER

Small group training at Synergy has been the best work out experience I have ever had! My first session I could be barely do 4 pushups. In 18 sessions I have lost 8.5 pounds, 2.6% body fat, and can do 30 pushups no problem! It has been the only work out program I have stuck with and I actually look forward to the sessions. I started small group training at Synergy a year and a half ago, I can’t say enough positive things about it! All of the trainers are personable, knowledgeable, and eager to help adapt the workout to fit your needs. The small group training is just the right setting for me! I’ve tried maintaining my fitness independently in the past, and haven’t been as successful as I have been since joining Synergy. I am currently down 18.5 lbs. and 9% body fat. I am frequently encouraged to make goals regarding fitness and nutrition, as well as monitor my progress.

I’M POSSIBLE

Before Synergy, I was very discouraged as to what action to take towards a healthier lifestyle. Then being diagnosed with diabetes in March, I knew something had to change! My trip to my Nutritionist is where it began. Nadia told me about Synergy. Her patients had fantastic results and were thrilled by the camaraderie from the staff. I immediately called Synergy and scheduled my first visit. Brad was inspiring, motivating and enthusiastic towards me. That was a great feeling! Having the consistent support, encouragement and motivation during group training from the Personal Trainers has resulted in me losing 30lbs!!!!! Wow! Never thought it was possible. To quote Audrey Hepburn “Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’! Being accountable and consistent has lead me towards a brighter future of being diabetic free! NOW A GYM PERSON

Starting off, let me say that I have never been a gym person and hadn’t properly exercised in years, so when I joined Synergy I didn’t know what to expect. I had done some research on local gyms that had personal training and Synergy had the best ratio of trainers to customers. I was extremely nervous walking in, but I committed to doing a body assessment with Brad. He walked me through how Synergy operates, the class size and structure, and how the interval training benefits the body and makes working out more effective. So I bought into the 20 class introductory period and promised myself that I would make it through those 20 classes before decided whether or not to join.

I knew within 5 classes that I had found a gym that worked for me! I loved the personal attention that I got from the personal trainers and how they were able to adapt their work out routines so that everyone in the class is challenged, but still able to handle the exercises. Classes are only 5 people max, so you’ll get to know everyone. The mixture of cardio and toning makes it so the hour long class flies by. And the best part is how the classes affect your body!

In the past 60 days, I have lost 17 pounds and am down 7.6% body fat! In total since I joined, I have lost 35 pounds and am feeling so much stronger! I had been starting to get bad back pain and just generally ached all over. Losing some weight and gaining muscle have helped with those pains.

And I am now a gym person! I go to 3 classes a week and I look forward to each one! The sense of accomplishment after finishing a class is amazing and the sense of comradery from the other people working out makes going to Synergy a pleasure!

EXTREMELY ENCOURAGING

Group training at Synergy is exactly what I’ve been searching for- the workouts fly by, they keep me accountable and the trainers are extremely encouraging! In only 13 sessions I am down 7lbs, and 4% body fat but more importantly I feel better, my clothes fit better and I’m not constantly hiding under a sweatshirt. I had a tendency to plateau at other gyms and get discouraged- I’ve never had the same work out twice at Synergy. All the trainers are extremely accommodating and motivating. Synergy makes me actually look forward to working out! The personal trainers there know what they are doing and are friendly and motivating. The hour goes by SO FAST! “FUN” WORKOUTS

Synergy has been just what I was looking for! I started group training about 4 weeks ago and I was tired, weak, and my clothes were definitely too tight. I needed a place that would hold me accountable and would have “fun” workouts. I love the fact that I have to book a class ahead of time so I know its already built into my schedule for the week. I also love how each workout is different and challenging. I was not successful on my own at a regular gym – there were always too many people and I would never feel satisfied when I left. It was also a lot easier to skip out too. At Synergy, I know I am getting a good workout with a mix of cardio and toning exercises without even thinking about it. So far I am down 3 lbs and 5% body fat and I’m feeling energetic and stronger. It’s definitely work, but I’m excited to be working towards my goal and seeing progress!
