Before Synergy, I was very discouraged as to what action to take towards a healthier lifestyle. Then being diagnosed with diabetes in March, I knew something had to change! My trip to my Nutritionist is where it began. Nadia told me about Synergy. Her patients had fantastic results and were thrilled by the camaraderie from the staff. I immediately called Synergy and scheduled my first visit. Brad was inspiring, motivating and enthusiastic towards me. That was a great feeling! Having the consistent support, encouragement and motivation during group training from the Personal Trainers has resulted in me losing 30lbs!!!!! Wow! Never thought it was possible. To quote Audrey Hepburn “Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’! Being accountable and consistent has lead me towards a brighter future of being diabetic free! As a result of my current weight loss, I am proud to say that I am in the pre diabetic range for my A1C blood sugar! Thank you Synergy from the bottom of my heart!



Starting off, let me say that I have never been a gym person and hadn’t properly exercised in years, so when I joined Synergy I didn’t know what to expect. I had done some research on local gyms that had personal training and Synergy had the best ratio of trainers to customers. I was extremely nervous walking in, but I committed to doing a body assessment with Brad. He walked me through how Synergy operates, the class size and structure, and how the interval training benefits the body and makes working out more effective. So I bought into the 20 class introductory period and promised myself that I would make it through those 20 classes before decided whether or not to join.

I knew within 5 classes that I had found a gym that worked for me! I loved the personal attention that I got from the personal trainers and how they were able to adapt their work out routines so that everyone in the class is challenged, but still able to handle the exercises. Classes are only 5 people max, so you’ll get to know everyone. The mixture of cardio and toning makes it so the hour long class flies by. And the best part is how the classes affect your body!

In the past 60 days, I have lost 17 pounds and am down 7.6% body fat! In total since I joined, I have lost 35 pounds and am feeling so much stronger! I had been starting to get bad back pain and just generally ached all over. Losing some weight and gaining muscle have helped with those pains.

And I am now a gym person! I go to 3 classes a week and I look forward to each one! The sense of accomplishment after finishing a class is amazing and the sense of comradery from the other people working out makes going to Synergy a pleasure!



Group training at Synergy is exactly what I’ve been searching for- the workouts fly by, they keep me accountable and the trainers are extremely encouraging! In only 13 sessions I am down 7lbs, and 4% body fat but more importantly I feel better, my clothes fit better and I’m not constantly hiding under a sweatshirt. I had a tendency to plateau at other gyms and get discouraged- I’ve never had the same work out twice at Synergy. All the trainers are extremely accommodating and motivating. I plan on sticking with Synergy for a long time!



Joining group training at Synergy was one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself! My overall health & fitness has improved tremendously. The accountability of having to make an appointment and keeping it is key for me. The workouts are never boring, the personal trainers always make it challenging and different. The atmosphere is motivating, never intimidating. I’ve met so many nice people along the way. The added bonus is that I have lost 17 lbs. and 7.2% body fat during this process. Knowing it is possible, I am inspired and look forward to continued success!



Synergy makes me actually look forward to working out! The personal trainers there know what they are doing and are friendly and motivating. The hour goes by SO FAST! The group training system works great – I have lost 4.5% body fat in just my 6 week trial period. I feel better about myself as my muscles strengthen and my pants aren’t so tight! Before I was very sporadic with working out and getting no results – but with the time slot commitment and the trainers guiding me on what to do – it’s so much easier to stay on track and get it done right!!



Synergy has been just what I was looking for! I started group training about 4 weeks ago and I was tired, weak, and my clothes were definitely too tight. I needed a place that would hold me accountable and would have “fun” workouts. I love the fact that I have to book a class ahead of time so I know its already built into my schedule for the week. I also love how each workout is different and challenging. I was not successful on my own at a regular gym – there were always too many people and I would never feel satisfied when I left. It was also a lot easier to skip out too. At Synergy, I know I am getting a good workout with a mix of cardio and toning exercises without even thinking about it. So far I am down 3 lbs and 5% body fat and I’m feeling energetic and stronger. It’s definitely work, but I’m excited to be working towards my goal and seeing progress!



I had contemplated working out for the longest time and when my my family recommended Synergy I knew I would love it the minute I walked in! Everyone there is super supportive and awesome to work with. With the group training I feel challenged and within only two months I saw dramatic changes. I lost 11 pounds and my body fat dropped 8.2%. Since I started I feel way more energized, happy, and healthy. No matter your age or size I highly recommend their sessions. I felt fat, gross, lethargic and all my clothes were tight. I never had success going to big box gyms and would pay the monthly fee and never go…..such a waste! I love working out at Synergy. Until I started here, I dreaded working out. Now I really do look forward to it. After a month of small group training about three times a week, I am down 4 lbs and 5% body fat. Synergy is such a fun and energizing way to get in shape!



I joined Synergy in February 2017 because I was lacking motivation to workout on my own and I wanted to finally get back on track with my health and fitness. The trainers are amazing and push you to get a great workout in all while making modifications when necessary. Each and every time you go in the workout is different and pushes you differently, which is one of the aspects I enjoy most. After 5 months of small group training, I have lost 15 lbs, decreased my body fat by 6.4%, and toned my muscles. I started small group training 6 months ago and never felt stronger, fitter and healthier. All the trainers are great and really approachable on how to get the most out of each session. I come away from each class knowing I’ve had a truly great workout and the results back that up (down 8.5 lbs)!!



Synergy personal training is exactly what I needed to help me rediscover my love for fitness. As a former gym rat I had several unsuccessful attempts at getting back into working out after having children. I had at least three gym memberships lapse or go completely unused. After years of not exercising and being concerned about my weight, I signed up for Synergy’s 20-session introductory offer for small group training and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I lost 11 pounds, lowered my body fat by 6.2 percent, took two inches off my waist and feel stronger and healthier. I like the variation of the workouts and individual attention. I had been kicking around the idea of getting a personal trainer for a few months when I discovered Synergy. My own progress at the gym was minimal and I had little to no motivation from the lack of results. One on one personal training was simply too expensive. When I saw the package Synergy was advertising one night for small group training, I took a chance and went in to inquire about their services. I was so impressed by what I saw, I scheduled a consultation for that week. After my consultation, I immediately signed up for 24 sessions. I can say without a doubt it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The trainers at Synergy are very knowledgeable, organized in their planning of each sessions’ routines, but most importantly they ensure that their clients go through a full and rigorous work out. As with anything, you get out of it what you put in. Staying faithful to my training sessions and adjusting my diet accordingly has allowed me to finally see the weight loss results I have been wanting for a long time (in 24 sessions I lost 12.5 lbs, lowered body fat by 5.5% and decreased BMI by 2.1!). I joined small group training at Synergy soon after giving birth to my second child. I had gained 80 pounds during my pregnancy, my cholesterol was extremely high, my liver was fatty and my kidney function was low. I had no energy and could not even look at myself in the mirror. As a mother of 2 little boys I need energy. I want to be my best self for them. I have been at Synergy for 3 months now and am down 11 pounds and 7.5% body fat. My cholesterol has already dropped and my kidney and liver function are back to normal. I have a long way to go but I feel great. I have always been active and joined a number of gyms in the past but have never truly enjoyed a gym as much as I enjoy Synergy. I love the people and the encouragement they give you. I joined Synergy in October 2015 at the beginning of my senior year of college, after spending my spring semester traveling throughout Europe and my summer in Las Vegas. Upon returning to school, I was at the heaviest I had ever been in my life. I was overweight, out of shape and nothing about my lifestyle was healthy. I knew I needed something more than just a big box gym since that, and working out on my own, had not worked in the past. I needed a trainer, someone with the knowledge of different exercises and equipment, someone to motivate me and someone to challenge me. It was then that I found Synergy after a Google search and saw that they offered small group personal training. After a free assessment (what college kid doesn’t appreciate free stuff?), I signed up, knowing from the moment I walked in, that this place would change my life.

Brad, Jackie and the other trainers are incredibly friendly and committed to helping you achieve your fitness goals. They are extremely motivating and I was challenged and pushed in every workout. I loved the various opportunities there were for competition, such as the Biggest Loser challenge; as an athlete, I am always inspired by competition. There is such a great atmosphere at Synergy; it was a place I looked forward to going to get a great workout, to see familiar faces and to hear about the successes of my fellow workout buddies.

After graduating from Bentley University in May and moving back home to NY, I was no longer able to attend classes at Synergy (that would have been some commute). However, a year later, after many ups and downs, I am happy to say I am down 30 lbs., putting me under 200 lbs. for the first time since my freshman year of college and am down 1-2 sizes in all my clothes. The numbers are a huge part of any weight loss journey but it’s what I have gained that I value most: confidence, a renewed dedication to myself, and determination to continue this journey. The trainers at Synergy gave me the stepping stones to build on to continue my fitness journey here at home and that has made all the difference.
