For essentially my entire life I have been either a student or a teacher. When late August rolls around and I am preparing to go back to school, for me this is my new year, the time that I make my resolutions. As the summer of 2012 was coming to a close, I promised myself that it would be the year that I would find balance in my life. I had a great balance between time spent with my family and my job as a teacher, but my attention to my own personal wellbeing was lacking. My weight had been creeping up and up, and I felt that I was not setting a good example for my own daughters. I joined Synergy in September 2012, and I haven’t looked back since. My weight is down a little over 20 pounds, I look better, and I feel great. Working out three times a week is now just a part of my life, and I am confident that those 20 pounds I have shed will never come back. Thanks to all of the Synergy trainers who have worked with me and pushed me to be a better, stronger version of myself!

Down 30 lbs!

To the staff of Syn Club,

 

Thank you so much for helping me lose the first 30 pounds to my goal weight. I feel healthier and stronger everyday thanks to your endless encouragement and positive feedback. I want to thank all the trainers, Jackie, Jamie and especially my ‘Seany boy” for believing in me.  I look forward to each workout and feel better about myself every day.

Dear Brad,

 

I want to thank you and your terrific staff for helping me to realize my fitness goals.

 

For me it is about maintaining a level of fitness throughout my life.

 

I want to be able to carry my own luggage and be able to run for the plane if need be.

 

Last week I went apple picking with my grand daughter and I carried the 2,  15 pound bags out of the orchard.

 

I sell real estate, so we often have to stage a house.

I came to Synergy PFT having never been to a gym before, and only occasionally exercising. Coming three times weekly I have dropped over 20lbs, gained strength, tone, flexibility, significantly improved posture, and I continue to gain strength especially in my core musculature.

I have been a client at Synergy Waltham on two different long term occasions. It is a unique way of training with one trainer working with people simultaneously. It works! All three of the trainers are expert, they remember your unique needs and help you hit your goals. There is a nice vibe in the place and it is the opposite of those big, corporate, muscle bound gyms.It is the only gym I would belong to.  I really do recommend it to others and it has helped me lose weight as well as get into the best shape I have been in years. As a member of Synergy PFT I have been able to experience success in weight loss and overall improved health. I have lost a total of 42.5 LBS!!! Synergy PFT joins the benefits of having a personal trainer and the support and motivation of participating in small-group activities, this combination will undoubtedly set anyone up for success.  The team at Synergy PFT created a training program that fit my individual needs and also provided nutritional advice that has aided me through my weight loss journey.  I look forward to being part of Synergy PFT for many years to come!!

At 49, I’m in the best shape of my life!

I have been meaning to write a personal review for Synergy PFT for quite some time.

 

After joining Synergy as a client I noticed there was something different about this experience.  After a couple of years now being a member/client I know what one of those things is – The Trainers Care!

 

At one point, I hated exercise and was always looking for a get-out-of-working-out-free card. Then, overweight and out-of-shape, I found my way into Synergy and met Brad.   Ever since then (going on two years now!), I’ve been a regular in Brad’s morning schedule.
Brad and his team have helped me appreciate what exercise can do for you aside from losing weight or inches (which is what we all want).  The Team at Synergy can help you grow, and ultimately, embrace my inner athlete.  If you are like me and always had an excuse to not work out this is the place for you!  After time you begin to not want to miss your session and even strive for a harder workout routine and believe me the trainers at Synergy always keep you guessing!

I joined Synergy last summer, after having recovered from knee surgery.  I was looking for some more individual attention and a change in my exercise routine. I had gone to the same gym for years, doing my own work out. I know I was not exercising the best way for my body, and I sure was not losing weight.

 

Since August , I have gone down 2 pant sizes! I feel so much more tone and I have more energy to do all the things in my life that I need to do.  But the best part for me is that I look forward to my work outs now. I used to hate going to the gym and it was one more thing on my “to do list”. Now, I know that if I start my day at Synergy; I will be in a great mood and have so much more energy.
Joining was a very good decision for me!
